178. Deputy Michelle Mulherin asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Social Protection the position regarding an application by a person (details supplied) in County Mayo under the disability allowance scheme; if it will be expedited. [28331/15]

Tánaiste and Minister for Social Protection

The person in question has been awarded a disability allowance payment with effect from 27 May 2015. First payment will be on 5 August 2015 and any arrears due will follow shortly.
