Questions (313)

Mattie McGrath

Question:

313. Deputy Mattie McGrath asked the Minister for Finance if he is aware that the Central Bank does not keep records, by financial entity, of the numbers of receivers, liquidators or examiners appointed each year in the entities it regulates; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am informed by the Central Bank that whilst the Bank would not necessarily have a direct role in relation to the appointments of receivers, liquidators and examiners of regulated financial entities, it is very much cognisant of all such activities as part of its supervisory role in relation to all regulated financial entities.
