422. Deputy Noel Harrington asked the Minister for Defence his plans to include the new Eircode postcode in all schemes and administrative roles operated by his Department; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [28312/15]
View answerEircode data will be incorporated into departmental databases on an ongoing basis and as the need arises. As the Department is primarily policy focused, it does not run any large schemes aimed at the general public which would necessitate the immediate inclusion of Eircode data onto a database.
