Deputy Joan Collins asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if his Department has received any request for financial assistance from Galway City Council and Sligo County Council in respect of costs associated with the recent visit of members of the British royal family; if his Department had budgeted for the visit; the funding his Department plans to provide to Galway City Council and Sligo County Council; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
