Deputy Michael McGrath asked the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs if he will examine the case of a person (details supplied) in County Cork who was taken into State care; if he is aware of concerns that have been expressed about the handling of the case; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Thank you for bringing this to my attention but as the Deputy will appreciate, it is not appropriate for me to comment on an individual case. I have forwarded the information supplied by the Deputy to Tusla, and I requested a short report on the matter. I will revert to the Deputy with appropriate information when the report is received.
