728. Deputy Éamon Ó Cuív asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government when proposals submitted to Galway County Council by an approved body (details supplied), and subsequently prioritised for funding by the local authority to his Department for approval, will be approved; the reason for the delay in making a decision on these proposals; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Two social housing proposals have been received from Galway County Council in respect of the approved housing body in question under my Department’s Capital Assistance Scheme. The assessment of all projects recently submitted under the Capital Assistance Scheme is now being finalised and I will be making an announcement on approvals shortly.
