Deputy Brian Walsh asked the Minister for Health to indicate when funding will be approved for orthotic footwear for a person (details supplied) in County Galway; his plans to introduce measures to alleviate the waiting period for funding and thus improve the availability of orthotic footwear for patients; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
