Tom Fleming

Question:

1377. Deputy Tom Fleming asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government his plans to reverse, in the forthcoming budget, the trend of high road tax which is the highest in Europe and drastic depreciation of motor vehicles in view of the fact that this is imposing considerable financial burdens on motorists and businesses and is contributing to the closure of garages and subsequent loss of employment; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
