Deputy Finian McGrath asked the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform the number of requests received from the Revenue Commissioners seeking funding for the purchase of additional equipment and resources in 2015 to date; the number of these requests that have been approved, are pending or were refused; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform

The Revenue Commissioners and my Department are engaged in ongoing discussions in regard to the Commissioners' own resource requirements for 2016 and subsequent years. These discussions are taking place in the context of the finalisation by the Government of the Estimates for Public Services 2016.
