Deputy Michael McGrath asked the Minister for Education and Skills the position regarding an application for grant aid for major capital works by a school (details supplied) in County Cork; the status of the application; when a decision is likely to be made; and if she will make a statement on the matter. View answerI can confirm that the school referred to by the Deputy has made an application to my Department for capital funding for the provision of additional accommodation.
The application is currently being considered and my Department will be in direct contact with the school authorities concerned as soon as the assessment process has been concluded.
