311. Deputy Colm Keaveney asked the Minister for Health the date of the appointment of a person (details supplied) as a policy adviser; the person's qualifications for that position; the salary received; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [35637/15]

I appointed my Policy and Parliamentary Adviser on 16 July 2014. This position is in the grade of Personal Assistant on a salary of €43,715 (first point of the relevant scale). The occupant is suitably qualified for the role.
