33. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Social Protection if an increase in rent allowance will be facilitated for a person (details supplied) in County Kildare; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [35628/15]

Tánaiste and Minister for Social Protection

The client concerned has already been awarded rent supplement entitlement in excess of the maximum applicable limit in August of this year. As this family have extenuating circumstances the Department will keep the case under review.
