204. Deputy Michelle Mulherin asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Social Protection the status of a claim by a person (details supplied) in County Mayo; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [36647/15]
View answerI confirm that the person concerned has made an application to have their disability allowance (DA) payment increased in respect of two dependent children.
This application has been awarded and back-dated to 5 June 2013. The next payment, due to the person in question on 21 October 2015, will include this increase. Arrears of increase for qualified children have recently issued by cheque to the person in question and he may expect to receive them within the next few days.
