Deputy John McGuinness asked the Minister for Education and Skills if a staff bonus scheme is in place at Caranua; if a scheme providing an annual bonus by way of payment or goods or services is available to any staff members; and, if such a scheme exists, if it was approved by her Department. Caranua, the Residential Institutions Statutory Fund Board, is an independent statutory body established pursuant to the Residential Institutions Statutory Fund Act 2012. I understand from enquiries made by my officials that Caranua does not operate a staff bonus scheme.
