Deputy Niall Collins asked the Minister for Justice and Equality the number of gardaí who have departed the force owing to voluntary retirement, compulsory retirement, cost-neutral early retirement, medical discharge, resignation and dismissal, respectively, for the years 2011 to 2014 and for 2015 to date, in tabular form. View answerI have been informed by the Garda Commissioner that for each of the past four years and to 31 August 2015, the latest date for which figures are readily available, the total number of Gardaí who have departed from the force owing to voluntary retirement, compulsory retirement, cost neutral early retirement, medical discharge, resignation, or dismissal is as set out in the following table.
