261. Deputy Pearse Doherty asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Social Protection when a person (details supplied) in County Cavan will have an adult diet supplement allowance reinstated; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [38279/15]
View answerThe person concerned was in receipt of a Diet Supplement since 14 April 2008. As part of a standard review in May 2015, the customer was asked to provide certain documentation. Following failure to provide this documentation, the Diet Supplement payment was suspended on 27 July 2015. This documentation has now been received by the Department and the Diet Supplement payment and arrears will issue this week (W/C 02/11/2015).
