The person in question was in receipt of another social welfare payment during the period 3 September 2014 to 26 May 2015. Consequently, the amount of social welfare already paid required calculation and was deducted from any arrears due. This process was completed by the Department as quickly as possible. Disability allowance arrears issued to the person in question on 7 September 2015.
