It is not possible to provide a County by County breakdown for all lines of capital expenditure, particularly where schemes are in the process of being rolled out and drawdown of funds is ongoing. The capital allocation for my Department for 2015 is €216m which includes €18m carried into this year from 2014. By the end of October €148m of this had been spent. The capital allocation for Fisheries Harbour and Coastal Infrastructure Development Programme and Forestry grants approved are set out in the tables below.

The Targeted Agricultural Modernisation Scheme has an allocation of €34m and the Horticulture Development Scheme has a 2015 allocation of just over €4m. A total of €3.8m has been allocated for food industry development.

The capital allocations for my Department’s agencies amount to just under €18m and €1m has been allocated to the Milan EXPO 2015. The allocation for Johnstown Castle restoration project is €2.5m. The Haulbowline Island remediation project has a €8m allocation. The Horse and Greyhound Racing Fund has a capital allocation of €9.4m. The capital spending by my Department on its facilities and capital equipment including its laboratories has been €1.3m for the year to end October.

Fishery Harbour & Coastal Infrastructure Development Programme

The Annual Fishery Harbour & Coastal Infrastructure Development Programme which the Department administers on an annual basis provides funding for capital works at Department owned Marine infrastructures. It also provides limited funding to Local Authorities for the development and repair of piers and harbours owned by them and with links to the fishing and aquaculture sectors, as well as for selected marine leisure projects. Details requested are set out in tables 1 & 2
