84. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Finance the receipts from deposit interest retention tax in each of the past eight years and 2015 to date; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [40903/15]
View answerI am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that the amount of Deposit Interest Retention Tax (DIRT) for each of the years the Deputy has sought up to 2014, the latest year for which figures are available, may be accessed under the "Receipts" heading in the "Revenue Net Receipts by Taxhead on an annual basis" table on the Revenue's Statistics webpage: http://www.revenue.ie/en/about/statistics/index.html. Receipts for 2015 will be published in due course.
