110. Deputy Brendan Griffin asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine if a late application under the basic payment scheme will be accepted from a person (details supplied) in County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [41934/15]

To be eligible under the Basic Payment Scheme applicants must declare all eligible land on an application form. An official from my department has been in touch with the person concerned regarding the submission of an application. Upon receipt of an application form, the case will be examined, and any mitigating circumstances will be considered at that stage.
