261. Deputy Éamon Ó Cuív asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the number of completed applications received to date by tier under tranche two of the green low-carbon agri-environment scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [43982/15]

Approximately 4,000 applications have been submitted under Tranche 2 of GLAS, while some 16,7 00 applications have been registered on the GLAS system. It is not possible until applications are fully processed to give definitive numbers for each Tier.
