493. Deputy Robert Troy asked the Minister for Education and Skills the number of special advisors on her staff and their yearly salary, from 2011 to date; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [43677/15]

The following tabular statement gives details of personnel contracted as Special Advisers at the Department of Education & Skills together with their annual salary as at the 31st December in the years stated by the Deputy. In accordance with the terms of the Ethics in Public Office Acts copies of their contracts with details of their conditions of employment were laid before the Houses of the Oireachtas.
