Deputy Robert Troy asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the number of chairpersons appointed to State boards under the aegis of his Department who have appeared before the relevant joint Oireachtas committee since March 2011; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Since March 2011 chairpersons appointed by me to the Boards of four Agencies under the aegis of my Department have appeared before the relevant Joint Oireachtas Committee. The agencies are Aquaculture Licences Appeals Board, Coillte, Horse Racing Ireland and Irish National Stud.
