326. Deputy Róisín Shortall asked the Minister for Justice and Equality the number of gardaí per each Garda Síochána district in each of the past five years, including the number of community gardaí in each case. [45777/15]
View answerThe Garda Commissioner is responsible for the distribution of personnel, including community Gardaí, among the Garda Regions, Divisions, and Districts. Garda management keep this distribution under continuing review taking into account crime trends and policing priorities so as to ensure that the best possible use is made of these resources.
