View answerA literature review of Independent Hospital Trusts was requested from the Health Research Board by my Department in 2011 to inform policy development. Following peer review, it was agreed that the original literature review should be supplemented by additional case studies, with appropriate material for integration into the literature review identified. The literature review was submitted to the Board of the HRB for consideration in September. Following approval by the Board, it was published on the HRB's website on 22 October 2015.
