Deputy Brendan Griffin asked the Minister for Education and Skills further to Parliamentary Question No. 550 of 17 December 2015, to what party the ownership of a building (details supplied) in County Kerry was transferred when it ceased to function as a primary school, given that the Land Registry states there is no registered owner; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I propose to take Questions Nos. 739 and 786 together.
As the Deputy may be aware, the primary school referred to by the Deputy has ceased to exist since the 1960's and is not in the ownership of the Minister for Education and Skills. Inquiries are being made regarding the ownership of the property and we will revert to the Deputy in this regard as soon as possible.
