Deputy Michelle Mulherin asked the Minister for Education and Skills the status of an application for additional accommodation by a school (details supplied) in County Mayo; if it will be prioritised due to the poor condition of existing facilities; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I can confirm that the school referred to by the Deputy has submitted an application to my Department for capital funding for additional school accommodation. The application is currently being considered and a decision will be conveyed to the school authority shortly.
