I can confirm that the school referred to by the Deputy has made an application to my Department for capital funding for the provision of a two classroom autism unit.
To assist the assessment of the application a technical site visit will be undertaken by officials from my Department. In that regard my Department will be in contact with the school authorities shortly regarding the appropriate arrangements for the visit.
