207. Deputy Terence Flanagan asked the Minister for Health if he will address a matter (details supplied) regarding the emergency services; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1615/16]

The HSE and Dublin City Council jointly commissioned an independent review of pre-hospital emergency care services in the greater Dublin area. The purpose of this review is to determine the optimal and most cost effective model of ambulance provision for the city. The review is expected to be completed shortly and its recommendations will be considered in the context of the ongoing reform and modernisation of our pre-hospital emergency care services.
