452. Deputy Marcella Corcoran Kennedy asked the Minister for Education and Skills when a decision will be made on an application for additional funding for a school building project (details supplied) in County Tipperary; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [3219/16]
View answerI can confirm that the school referred to by the Deputy was approved funding by my Department in July 2014 for the provision of a Resource Room to meet their accommodation requirements. In addition, the school was also approved additional funding in December 2014 to address Health and Safety issues at the school. The school has now contacted my Department for further additional funding in relation to the project. This application is being considered and my Department will be in contact with the school in the matter shortly.
