I confirm the Department received an application for a fuel allowance (FA) under the National fuel scheme on 19 October 2015.
FA is a means-tested payment and is payable to certain categories of people who live alone or only with certain other persons. The person in question did not qualify for FA as his household includes person(s) who are not in a qualifying category.
