Deputy Clare Daly asked the Minister for Health if he is aware of the case of a person (details supplied); if he was contacted regarding the matter; the basis upon which a foetus can be considered a person; and the advice given regarding same; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I have not been contacted regarding the decision of coroner Paul Morris in relation to the inquest of the death of a pregnant woman in a car accident in March 2012 and no advice was sought or provided by my Department on this matter.
