Deputy Michael Healy-Rae asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the number of civil and public servants who availed of fully or partially funded trips to the United States of America or elsewhere by CIE Tours to examine operations, or for any other reasons; and if he will make a statement on the matter. View answerI am not aware of any official from my Department who has availed of fully, or partially funded, trips to the USA or elsewhere, by CIÉ Tours to examine its operations, or for any other reasons.
More generally, CIÉ has informed me that it is not aware of any trips funded by CIÉ Tours for Civil and Public Servants to the USA or elsewhere to examine the operations, or for any other reasons.
