Deputy John McGuinness asked the Minister for Education and Skills further to previous parliamentary questions, to outline the three proposals made to her for the use of a site at Gaol Road in Kilkenny; if she has advanced any of the proposals for consideration; when she will make a final decision on the use of site; and if she will make a statement on the matter. View answerI wish to advise the Deputy that various inquiries have been received related to possible access to the site in question for non-educational purposes. I wish to confirm to the Deputy that the site, in question, is required for educational purposes and that planning permission has being obtained by the relevant Educational and Training Board for the provision of educational accommodation on the site concerned.
