Deputy Dara Calleary asked the Minister for Education and Skills the current status of a primary school construction project (details supplied) in County Mayo, if she will outline a projected timeframe for the sanctioning of the project; and if she will make a statement on the matter. View answerI wish to advise the Deputy that my Department approved funding to the school in question for additional accommodation in July 2015. However, I can confirm that my Department has recently received a revised proposal from the school to include additional accommodation as part of the project already approved. This proposal is currently being considered and my Department will be in further contact with the school authority concerned as soon as the assessment process has been concluded.
