38. Deputy Brendan Griffin asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine when payment will issue for Scottish derogation to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7841/16]
View answerThe person named submitted an application for allocation of entitlements under the ‘Scottish Derogation’ measure of the Basic Payment Scheme. Under EU Regulations governing the Basic Payment scheme, processing of applications involves administrative and on farm checks and verification of land details submitted. The checks are now complete and the application has now been finalised. A letter will issue to the applicant in the coming days to advise him of the outcome of his application.
