73. Deputy James Browne asked the Minister for Health the number of officer positions in the national ambulance service filled for each of the years 2012 to 2015 and to date in 2016; the locations of these positions; the number of these currently filled on a temporary or acting basis; when each of the positions were filled, including permanent, temporary and acting positions; if any of the permanent, temporary or acting positions were filled by staff otherwise than from the panels for officer grades applicable to those positions; the number of positions currently unfilled; the locations of same; the number of staff currently on the panels and the positions for which; the panels which were disbanded within the past six months; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
