143. Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources the dividends paid to the Exchequer by each of the semi-State energy companies; their reported profits, for each of the past five years, in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. There are three commercial State Bodies under the aegis of my Department that pay dividends to the Exchequer. These are: Bord na Móna, EirGrid and ESB. Information regarding reported profits and dividend payments by these companies is contained within their annual reports, which are available online.
