Deputy Clare Daly asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if he is aware that persons over 70 years of age will have to present in person at National Driver Licence Service centres every time they wish to renew their driving licences, as they must present an up-to-date medical certificate with each application, which constitutes a change in their details; his views on whether this is fair; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
