1154. Deputy Thomas P. Broughan asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport to report to Dáil Éireann on his plans to promote cycling throughout County Dublin, including implementing safe cycle lanes and routes; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10502/16]

The National Transport Authority (NTA) is responsible for the planning and delivery of cycling infrastructure within the Greater Dublin Area (GDA) in cooperation with the relevant local authority.
