While I, as Minister, have responsibility for the provision of capital funding for investment in tourism projects, such as Ireland's Ancient East, neither I nor my Department is directly involved in the allocation of funding to such projects. The funding and development of tourism projects are matters for Fáilte Ireland. Accordingly, I have referred the Deputy's question to Fáilte Ireland for direct reply.
