Deputy John McGuinness asked the Minister for Education and Skills to set out the status of an application for additional accommodation at Kilkenny College (details supplied) in County Kilkenny, including whether he will expedite the funding; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I can confirm that the school referred to by the Deputy has made an application to my Department for significant capital funding for the provision of additional accommodation. The application will be assessed and a decision will be conveyed to the school authority as soon as this process is finalised.
