287. Deputy Michael Healy-Rae asked the Minister for Education and Skills the status of an application for a transfer of patronage by a school (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [9879/16]
View answerRegarding the school referred to by the Deputy, my Department was made aware of a proposal to transfer the patronage of an existing school to another patron body. My Department understands that the existing patron is undertaking further consultations with the local community in this regard.
