567. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Social Protection further to the reply to Parliamentary Question No. 5 of 5 May 2016, the documentation now required from a person (details supplied) in respect of an application under the basic supplementary welfare allowance scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The person concerned was sent a letter on the 04/05/16 requesting details of the terms and conditions of his tenancy and proof of rent paid at his address in writing from his landlord. To date this information has not been supplied.

I hope this clarifies the matter for the Deputy.
