My Department is represented on the Steering Group that has been established by the Department of Health to develop a new National Drugs Strategy. As part of the development of the new strategy, the Department of Health has engaged an independent expert team to conduct a review of the implementation of the current strategy. Officials from my Department met with the expert team conducting the review in January 2016.
