Deputy Billy Kelleher asked the Minister for Health the average sums the Health Service Executive paid for a typical course of fidaxomicin, vancomycin and other drugs used for persons infected with clostridium difficile and methicillin resistant staphylococcus aureus, MRSA, in hospitals under its control, by patient, in each of the years 2011 to 2016 to date, in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
