The Irish Aviation Authority is responsible for aviation safety regulation in Ireland, as provided for under the Irish Aviation Authority Act 1993. This includes the implementation of EU Regulations concerning the use of private helicopters and aircraft in built-up residential areas.

I have referred the Deputy's question to the IAA for direct reply.  Please advise my private office if you do not receive a reply within ten working days.
