850. Deputy John Lahart asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the progress on Transport Infrastructure Ireland's plans to provide electronic speed control warning indicators on the gantries along the M50; and the costs and timelines for same. [12774/16]
View answerAs Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, I have responsibility for overall policy and funding in relation to the national roads programme. The planning, design and operation of individual road projects (including the M50) is a matter for the Transport Infrastructure Ireland (formerly known as the NRA) under the Roads Acts 1993-2015 in conjunction with the local authorities concerned.
