Deputy Charlie McConalogue asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the number applications submitted; the number of these which were ineligible; and the number which he has not yet paid under the areas of natural constraint scheme in 2015, by county, in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. A total of 103,763 applications were received under the 2015 Areas of Natural Constraints Scheme, of which 96,002 applications have been paid to date. Of those applications outstanding, many are currently not meeting the eligibility requirements and therefore will not become eligible for payment.
