Deputy Éamon Ó Cuív asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine when a decision will be made on an application by a person (details supplied) under the targeted agricultural modernisation scheme II; the reason for the delay; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The applicant in question has applied in the second tranche for the Low Emission Slurry Spreading Scheme. All applications received in a tranche have to be examined and then ranked and selected before approvals issue. This process is currently underway for the LESS Tranche 2 applications.
